ABOUT KASSANDRA
Work
Kassandra enjoys interacting with people from all walks of life. Having lived abroad for her studies and travelled extensively while in the Foreign Service, she is able to adapt to different environments and cultures. Most of all, she thrives in fast-paced and challenging environments.
Kassandra joined Temasek International’s Organisation and People (Talent Development – Learning) in 2017 to develop and implement learning strategies and programmes in the firm. She was then rotated into a HR Business Partner role where she spearheads strategic HR initiatives and fosters strong partnerships between HR and business leaders.
Previously, she was in the regional headquarters of Schaeffler, a global automotive and industrial supplier, based in Singapore. Her role oversaw the competence centres of recruitment, training and development, and talent management for Asia Pacific (ex-China).
Before Schaeffler, Kassandra was in the Talent Management team in the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR). She developed and implemented HR policies on succession management and career development of high-potentials and scholars for the organisation.
Prior to A*STAR, Kassandra was an Assistant Manager (HR) in The Learning Lab as part of the recruitment team. Her first (ever) job was as a Foreign Service Officer in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), with the Latin America Desk. She worked with both local and foreign dignitaries to strengthen Singapore’s bilateral relations with Cuba, Chile, Panama and Peru.
Dance
Kassandra has been dancing from the age of 4. From Ballet to Rhythmic Gymnastics and Chinese Dance, she dabbled in Jazz and Ballroom only to become an ardent Salsa dancer and performer. Though she has since retired from the stage, she can still be occasionally found on the dance floor.
Live
An avid traveller, eater and café hopper, Kassandra believes in exploring, eating and experiencing as much as she can. Beyond watching dramas and rolling at home, Kassandra is currently looking out for a new hobby - she has been trying out different sports and taking up cooking classes. Let her know if you are participating in anything interesting!
